Salt 88 Review
Salt 88!!! Located at 3623 N. 129th Street where Lava Jays used to be. I have nothing but great things to say about Salt. Upon entering I was amazed by the beautiful decor that Salt has to offer. Salt was giving me modern, chic, and rustic realness I love it! Salt's HH is daily from 3-6:30 pm and on Sunday its ALL DAY! The HH menu offers $5 Cocktails, $4 Wine by the glass, discounted beer and fabulous discounted small plates. As your guys may know I'm a mojito kind of girl!! I just had to order the Mango Mojito(Mango/Hypnotiq/Red Bull/ Tequila). I admire that the drink came in a Manson jar. I'm from the south honey and theres nothing like drinking out of a Mason jar. This cocktail was amazing and refreshing, I had to force myself not to order another! Lets talk food. I ordered the Swai Tacos and Goat Cheese Rangoon. Swai fish is mild in flavor, tender and flaky. Sometimes when you fry fish it can be heavy...not Salts I appreciated that it was light and delicate. I do wish the the taco overall had a little kick to it. I think it was lacking in flavor just a bit. I fell in love with the Goat Cheese Rangoon! Paired with sun dried tomato sauce it was perfect. Not Asian inspired at all but reminded me of a crunchy baguette with smooth cheese and sauce. I loved it. Overall I give Salt 88 4 smiles. I enjoyed myself can't wait to go back with friends and have a good time. Also if you're nice you may get cotton candy. ;-)

Brix Review
"A Wine and Sprits Experince" is Brix's (pronounced bricks) motto. I must say the motto fits Brix to the tee cause honey....I definitely had an experience. Brix offers Omaha two locations, one in Modtown and Village Point. My HH buddy and I visited the Midtown location. Brix's HH offers $5 wine by the glass, $6 cocktails, discounted craft drafts, wells, and small plates. I had one glass of Stella Rosa Ross Sweet Red, the Cheese Burger Sliders and Cheese Curds. As a beginner in drinking wines I prefer something sweet. If you're like me Stella is your best bet for a red wine. I loved it! The sliders were delicious. If you like your burger well done, make sure you tell your waiter ahead of time because mine came out medium rare. Now lets talk cheese curds! I was expecting heavy breaded mozzarella balls but I was wrong. It was light, airy and delightful. Paired with roasted red pepper sauce ans top with sweet savory bacon marmalade. Brix is a great place hang with your girls, drink a couple glasses of wine and reminisce about the good ol days....or talk about how ol girl is having an affair with her boss. Regardless you're going to have a great time I promise. One last thing about.Brix that I love amd can't wait to go back is throughout the store they have wine dispensing systems! Basically you put money on a card, slide the card thru the system and try as many different wines as you like! Its def an experience that you'll want to try. I give Brix 4 smiles. :)

Tokyo Sushi Review
Hey y'all!!! I'm finally back with another review. This review is for all my sushi lovers. Tokyo Sushi will make you say "Blue who????" hahaha. Tokyo is located in the heart of Old Market District on Howard Street right next to Eat the Worm. Tokyo offers all you can eat sushi for only $10.99 during Happy Hour including appetizers! A great wallet friendly deal that you can't beat!! Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of the food but you just have to trust me when I say, Tokyo is the real deal. If you like Blue, you'll love Tokyo. Most of the rolls on the menu reminds me of Blue. Since this place is "all you can eat", before you order another round you have to finish your plate. They don't believe in wasting, which I don't blame them on. One thing I wish they did have....was booze! Lol they're currently working on their liquor license. I give Tokyo 3.5 Smiles.
