M's Pup Happy Hour Review

Sociable, Charm, and Delectable Food is M’s Pub motto.   Located in the heart of the Old Market, M’s Pub defiantly has the Charm and delectable food. As good as the food and décor of M’s Pub is, the customer service needed work.  One thing I don’t tolerate is poor customer service. Once my party was seated it took 15 minutes for a waiter to bring us water and to say hello. The waiters were busy tasting food that the chef prepared. Now I understand that waiters need to know whats on the menu. When you have customers that don’t even have glasses or menus on the table, you should know whats up! In order for us to receive service we had to wave for a waiter. Oh let me not forget, we also had a time limit!  M’s Pubs Happy Hour offers select apps and cocktails. We sampled the Chicarones, Pretzel Bites, and Sliders. The Chicarones are basically pork skins with Salsa Verde and Cotlja Cheese. Delicious snack that would go perfect with a beer. The Sliders were made with lamb topped with feta cheese, sauce and tomato. Reminded me of a gyro…I love gyros. The food was good, but because of the customer service my whole experience could’ve been better. With that being said M’s Pub gets 2 Smiles.

Twisted Fork Happy Hour Review

Review-Remix!!!!! It was only right to visit Twisted Fork on my Anniversary!  April 2, 2013 was when God gave me the vision for #H3G at Twisted Fork. Wow we've came so far but so much more to do! Im soooo excited and ready to get to work!  Twisted Fork offers discounted bar food and cocktails.  I must say they don't have a grand selection of food but their cocktails is a different story.  If you like anything tropical try "Christmas in July". (Grape vodka,  blue curacao, pineapple and orange) Remind me of a bomb pop. Twisted's wings are always on point but honey the Spinach Artichoke Quesadilla was everything!!!!! Crispy and creamy you didn't need chicken!

Zin Room review

Zin Room Happy Hour offers half off Bar food, $2 off Cocktails, $1 off beers and discounted wines. Located right next to Hotel Deco downtown. Zin Room offers a relaxing atmosphere where you can sip your wine and dine. As much as I enjoyed relaxing I personally didn't enjoy my food. I started of with the La Floridita Daquiri. (Bacardi Light Rum, Dakuyper, Michigan Cherry, Grapefruit juice, lime juice and simple Syrup) Very citrus-y if you like that kind of thing. I really didn't care for it plus the guy who made it never made a drink before! As far as food.....yeah not that great either. The Bistro Burger Sliders made with Brie, caramelized onions, and mustard was okay. I LOVE Brie cheese but I don't think I care for it warm. The Ranch Fries was delicious! I also had Tempura Battered Aspargus with Garlic Parmesan dipping sauce. Delicious without the tempura, I peeled that off. Overall honestly I can say I didn't enjoy the food at Zin Room.BUT what I sampled was their Bar Food. Zin offers Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner which may taste different. I give Zin 2 Smiles.

Tokyo Sushi Review

Hey y'all!!! I'm finally back with another review. This review is for all my sushi lovers. Tokyo Sushi will make you say "Blue who????" hahaha. Tokyo is located in the heart of Old Market District on Howard Street right next to Eat the Worm. Tokyo offers all you can eat sushi for only $10.99 during Happy Hour including appetizers! A great wallet friendly deal that you can't beat!! Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures of the food but you just have to trust me when I say, Tokyo is the real deal. If you like Blue, you'll love Tokyo. Most of the rolls on the menu reminds me of Blue.  Since this place is "all you can eat", before you order another round you have to finish your plate. They don't believe in wasting, which I don't blame them on. One thing I wish they did have....was booze! Lol they're currently working on their liquor license. I give Tokyo 3.5 Smiles.
